Very tasty & authentic Indian food. The chicken saagwala was delicious & the sauce was quite light, not your typical heavy greasy food court Indian. The biryani's are also delicious & nicely spiced & everything comes with basmati rice. The portions of meat are pretty skimpy but sufficient for a lunch.
There is no doubt to say that Bombay duck offers the best value for money among all the restaurants in and around CBD.
I have never had an onion bhajji anywhere like the one u get here. Its crispy from outside soft and spicy from inside and the portion is just right to satisfy your hunger for a fried snack. The sweet mint raita complimented the bhajji very well.
The aloo paratha is decently stuffed to act as a afternoon meal. The mild flavors of ajawain clubbed with the spicy potato stuffing created a perfect blend.
Their veg thali is sumptuous enough to feed somebody with large appetite. With 3 curries,a naan,a papad and a pickle I felt as though my mouth was on a marathon. Methi malai matar, dal makani and mushroom curry had their distinctive tastes. The naan was soft and tender. We all enjoyed the food.
As it is in a food court, one may find it difficult to get a proper seating. The place is kids friendly, there is no guarantee that you will get a booster seat.
Will I visit this restaurant again...Y not!☺
